Yes. Fully. Every AI model, every reference, every map is on the drive inside the case. No WiFi needed. No account. No subscription. You can put it in a Faraday bag and it still works the moment you take it out.

About 4 to 6 hours of continuous use — which in practice is days of typical emergency use, since you ask questions in bursts, not marathons. It recharges from any wall outlet, generator, or vehicle 12V socket, and the solar kit option keeps it running indefinitely off-grid.

Yes. When you plug into WiFi at home, the box can pull new AI models, updated maps, and new reference libraries. Updates are optional. Everything that was on the drive stays on the drive.

No. Ares is a US-only product — the waitlist itself is US-only, builds ship insured to addresses in the continental US, and the knowledge base, maps, and support are built around US regions. If that changes, the waitlist hears first.
